Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore has 55 catches this season. The next closest player is RB Jerrion Ealy, who has 16 catches.
Now, with talented runner John Rhys Plumlee at quarterback, there aren’t many passes to go around in Oxford.
On Wednesday, Ole Miss coach Matt Luke confirmed that a pair of redshirt freshman receivers — Miles Battle and Demarcus Gregory — were leaving the program:
Ole Miss HC Matt Luke confirms that redshirt freshmen wide receivers Demarcus Gregory and Miles Battle are likely leaving the program. Neither practiced with the team today. Neither have entered portal yet. More coming on the OM Spirit. Luke said issue is "playing time."

Gregory has 6 catches for 127 yards this year, while Battle has 2 grabs for 20 yards.
Neither player had a huge role in the offense, but this will hurt the Rebels’ receiving depth moving forward. Where they end up next remains to be seen.
