Ole Miss continues to bounce back in a scoring bonanza against LSU, and this time, the Rebels did it with a 13-yard pass to Tre Harris.
Harris split a pair of LSU defenders and found his way to the end zone with 39 seconds remaining, which gave Ole Miss a 55-49 lead after the 2-point attempt failed. That gave Ole Miss its first game where the Rebels reached 300 yards passing, and 300 yards rushing.
Ole Miss also reached 711 total yards, which is the most in an SEC game in school history.
Jaxson Dart capped an 8-play, 88-yard drive in 1:57 to take the lead.
He earlier connected with Ulysses Bentley for a 17-yard gain after Dart ran for 2 yards, and Quinshon Judkins rushed for 6, 5 and 14 yards.
The teams have already reached several milestones, records and other accomplishments, including the record crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The Rebels and Tigers combined for 760 total yards of offense in the first half, which is the most yards in a half of an SEC game in 20 years.
