SDS News: Ole Miss announces junior RB Eric Swinney will miss first 3 weeks of season

The good news is that Ole Miss starting RB Scottie Phillips is good to go. His top backup, however, is not. According to news that broke on Tuesday, RB Eric Swinney will miss the first three weeks of the season.

Swinney is reportedly dealing with a bout of mononucleosis.

If this were a rivalry game, we’d certainly be hearing some Ole Kiss jokes.
