Veteran Ole Miss TE reportedly opts for transfer portal during spring practices

One veteran Ole Miss TE is reportedly opting for the transfer portal in the middle of the spring session.
According to various reports — including recruiting analyst Mike Farrell — Casey Kelly is heading for the transfer portal as a grad transfer. He is the younger brother of former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly and the nephew of former Buffalo Bills QB Jim Kelly.
Kelly was a member of the 2019 recruiting class out of New York.

Kelly has seen playing time in each of the last 3 seasons, including in 2021 when he produced 17 catches for 150 yards and 1 touchdown. Unfortunately, he recorded just 3 catches for 17 yards and a touchdown last season.
Kelly has 28 career catches for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns with the Rebels.
