While ESPN has been the staple for college football television coverage for years, FOX Sports continues to build up its brand of college football coverage and just stole away one of the “rising stars” of ESPN.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Adam Amin is leaving ESPN for FOX Sports. The Post referred to Amin as one of ESPN’s “rising stars” in its article on the story.

Amin served as lead commentator for ESPN’s coverage of college football on Thursday nights in addition to duties calling games for the NBA, MLB, college basketball and the Women’s Final Four. Amin has been with ESPN since 2011.

The New York Post reports that Amin will call NFL or college football, as well as Major League Baseball games, for FOX.

For ESPN radio listeners, Amin called the 2013 Iron Bowl, which featured Auburn’s “Kick Six” to beat an undefeated Alabama team.
