With 10 players represented, Alabama had the most representatives on the All-SEC Coaches First Team, announced on Tuesday.

Auburn and LSU were next with seven picks, and Georgia had five. Both running backs made it to Atlanta as they met in the SEC Championship Game. The defense, meanwhile, has players at each level that have already received, or are in the mix for, national awards for their position.

There are many familiar names on the team, including 12 players who have made multiple appearances on the team. They are Auburn’s Daniel Carlson, Florida’s Johnny Townsend, Texas A&M’s Christian Kirk and Alabama’s Calvin Ridley and JK Scott have been voted All-SEC for the third time.

Kirk, Carlson, Scott, Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick and LSU’s Will Clapp were named to the first team for the second consecutive season.

Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
