The 2020 regular season of SEC basketball has come to a close. A Saturday of season finales was capped off with Mississippi State’s 69-44 win over Ole Miss. MSU moved into the No. 4-seed with the win as the Bulldogs held a head-to-head tiebreaker over Florida. The Gators entered the day as the No. 2 team in the SEC standings thanks to head-to-head records against Auburn and LSU, but the home collapse against Kentucky in a 71-70 loss drops Mike White’s squad to No. 5.

Here’s how the 14 finished in the final regular-season standings and are seeded for the conference tournament, which begins Wednesday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The tournament begins on Wednesday with Game 1 featuring No. 12-seed Ole Miss vs. No. 13-seed Georgia, set for a 6 p.m. CT tip. Game 2 – No. 11-seed Arkansas vs. No. 14-seed Vanderbilt will tipoff 25 minutes after the completion of Game 1. Seeds Nos. 5-10 (Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Alabama and Missouri) play on Thursday while the top-four seeds (Kentucky, Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State) receive a double-bye and do not play until Friday. The tournament wraps up on Sunday in a contest that will air on ESPN and tip at noon CT.
