After 1 weekend of play, the rankings shuffled a bit.

Top-ranked Vanderbilt dropped after going 1-2 the opening weekend the MLB4 Collegiate Tournament. The Commodores lost to Michigan and Cal Poly. Among other SEC programs, Ole Miss made a major jump after taking down Louisville, which is considered a top 2 team in the nation. The Rebels just made the preseason Top 25, and they jumped into the top 20 after a big weekend.

D1Baseball.com released their updated top 25 rankings, and 9 SEC programs were ranked. Specifically in the top 10, 6 SEC teams made the cut. That’s just ridiculous.
