Arch Manning’s recruitment is heating up. This weekend, 2 SEC schools are expected to attend the junior QB’s game: Alabama and LSU.

It’s not surprising that Alabama coaches will be attending the game, they are high on Manning’s list with many thinking them along with Georgia and Texas, are his top choices for schools he is considering right now. The surprise in the group may be LSU, a staff with an uncertain status after Ed Orgeron’s firing.

On “The Dan Patrick Show” a few weeks ago, Patrick said his sources have mentioned LSU may be in the running if they fired Oregron. But Patrick added, they would have to hire someone that would get them into the running for the star QB.

Both LSU and Alabama have a bye week before they face each other in Tuscaloosa next Saturday.
