Best finish of the season? BYU-Coastal Carolina comes down to the final play

We may have just witnessed the best finish of the season as BYU and Coastal Carolina literally just went down to the wire.

On the final possession of the game, BYU got the ball back down five points needing to drive the length of the field to keep their undefeated season alive.

Of course, Coastal Carolina also entered this game undefeated with ESPN College GameDay making the trip to handle the pregame show leading up to this game.

If you missed the final play of the game, BYU QB Zach Wilson connected with his receiver as time expired but with Coastal Carolina defenders closing in fast.

Here is what happened:

Thanks to those defenders, Coastal Carolina held on to beat BYU 22-17.

Following this result, Coastal Carolina improved to 10-0 on the season while BYU fell to 9-1.
