The 2022 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and once again, the SEC should dominate the first round.

Most projections have more than 10 SEC stars going in the first 32 picks. On Thursday, CBS Sports analyst Josh Edwards updated his Round 1 mock draft.

As you can see below, he projects 13 SEC players to hear their names called in the first round in April:

  • No. 2 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 4 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 9 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 10 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 13 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 14 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Denver Broncos
  • No. 17 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 19 — Travon Walker, DL, Georgia — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 23 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 24 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Detroit Lions
  • No. 27 — Darian Kinnard, OL, Kentucky — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 28 — Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 31 — Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn — New England Patriots
