CFB handicapper Danny Sheridan: ‘Georgia is going to pop South Carolina’

We won’t have to wait long for our first marquee SEC showdown of the 2018 season, as Georgia travels to South Carolina in Week 2 for a game that could decide the SEC East.
Many expect the game to be intense, especially since it’s at Williams-Brice Stadium instead of in Athens. However, don’t count college football handicapper Danny Sheridan among those who think the game will be close.
On Thursday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Sheridan said he would make the Bulldogs a two-touchdown favorite and added that he thinks Georgia will win the game by double digits:
"Georgia is going to pop South Carolina when they go to Williams-Brice Stadium. I would make the #Dawgs a 14 point favorite…realistically on paper, Georgia should wack them by double digits" – @DannySheridan1

Obviously, we’ll need to see how the teams look this summer before final judgements are made, but Sheridan already has his mind made up.
The game between the Bulldogs and Gamecocks is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time, and it will be the CBS game of the week.
