ESPN’s Ryan McGee has set out to preview conferences around the country, and he’s outlined what to expect from the SEC this season.

McGee pointed out that Georgia is the SEC’s 13th champion since 2003, and when the Bulldogs won in Indianapolis, they became the sixth different SEC team to win it all since the BCS Playoff era began in 1998.

McGee said “revenge-seeking” Alabama is the favorite as Bryce Young looks to become only the second back-to-back winner of the Heisman Trophy, but Will Anderson Jr. is also in the mix and he wants to be the second winner from the defensive side of the ball.

McGee pointed out that Georgia looks to replace 8 starters from its historic defense that paved the way to the national championship. However, more than half of Georgia’s offense is back, including “walk on turned folk hero” Stetson Bennett.
