No. 2 Georgia will host No. 9 Ole Miss in 1 of the most highly anticipated games of the college football slate for Week 11.

Georgia is atop the SEC East standings while Ole Miss is second to only Alabama in the West division. ESPN’s SP+ is predicting Georgia to beat Ole Miss 34-21 in Athens.

This will be a clash vs. Kirby Smart and Lane Kiffin, both of whom worked together on Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama before their respective roles.

Smart raves about the work Kiffin has done to revitalize Ole Miss since taking over in 2020.

“He does a great job. He’s extremely intelligent. He doesn’t overthink things. He keeps it simple. You don’t have to overthink things sometimes as a coach. He probably doesn’t get enough credit for that,” Smart said.

Meanwhile, Kiffin is effusive in his praise for Smart and the back-to-back national champion Bulldogs.

“We’ve got to have a really good week of practice. This is a very challenging combination now of having elite, phenomenal players and elite phenomenal coaches combined on the road,” Kiffin said. “There’s the trifecta of what’s the hardest thing to pull off. This would be it.”

Ole Miss at Georgia is slated for 7 p.m. EST (ESPN).
