Former SEC players helping Jacksonville to 14-10 halftime lead over New England
There’s former SEC talent all over the field in the NFL Playoffs. You can see all 38 players here.
Twelve former Southeastern Conference players are on the Jaguars’ roster, and specifically, three of them are helping the team to the 14-10 halftime lead over New England.
The Jaguars bullied the Patriots in the first half, and former Florida lineman Dante Fowler helped lead the way. Fowler recorded two sacks on Tom Brady and was relentless rushing the passer.

Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette gave the Jaguars a 14-3 lead, as he is the human battering ram:

Former Auburn RB Corey Grant also added three catches for 59 yards — the team’s leading receiver — and gashed the Patriots’ defense.
Former UCF QB Blake Bortles is the biggest reason for the Jaguars leading the Patriots, as he finished 13-of-15 for 155 yards and one TD.
However, Tom Brady has been here before, and a great second half is coming.
