New Orleans Saints running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have combined to have outstanding seasons.

The former SEC stars — Ingram at Alabama and Kamara more recently at Tennessee — have been virtually unstoppable in The Big Easy this year.

A tweet from the NFL Media Research Group (@NFLResearch) on Sunday indicated just how dynamic the RB duo has been.

Ingram and Kamara were able to set an incredible record by each reaching at least 1,500 scrimmage yards in a single season.

They are the first duo of running backs on the same team in NFL history to accomplish such a feat:

The Saints were leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-23 at the time of this post in the fourth quarter. Ingram and Kamara had already combined for 182 yards from scrimmage.
