The Red River Rivalry has already featured some fireworks on Saturday, as Texas jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first 2 minutes of the game.

However, there was even more drama to be had, as the first quarter also featured a fox running onto the field.

Scott Bell, a reporter for the Dallas Morning News, snapped a photo of the fox making its way down the sidelines toward the end zone:

We’ve seen some bizarre animal situations in college football this year. There was the falling cat saved by an American flag at a Miami game. Then, last week, a bird stole the show at Texas A&M.

What wackiness awaits us as the season goes on?
