Many fans from across the country will be eagerly watching Saturday’s Iron Bowl, as the game will have a major impact on the College Football Playoff rankings.

The two key players in the game are Alabama QB Jalen Hurts and Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham, both of whom have played great this year.

However, when asked to make a choice between the two signal-callers, former Florida QB and current SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow said he prefers Hurts. On Saturday morning’s SportsCenter, Tebow said Hurts’s clutch performances the past two years give him the edge:

“I think it’s Jalen Hurts,” he said. “A lot of people want to knock him for not being able to throw from the pocket, but in two years, he’s lost one game. He’s found ways to win close games. I have a lot of trust in this kid. Yeah, he doesn’t always look his best in the pocket, but he gets it done in the fourth quarter and he’s at his best when his best is needed.”

Hurts has been good this year, but hasn’t been asked to do much this year. Meanwhile, Stidham has been playing some of his best football of late.

Quarterback play is going to be a huge key to Saturday’s Iron Bowl, and whichever quarterback has the best game will put his team in position to win the important game.
