Jarvis Landry not pleased with Patrick Surtain Jr. following 5-star DB’s decision to pick Alabama over LSU
Jarvis Landry is apparently into recruiting just as much as any other die-hard college football fan.
Like most LSU fans, Landry took the loss of five-star Patrick Surtain Jr. like a punch to the gut. Instead of moving on from his disappointment, however, Landry took to Twitter to take out his frustration on the high school prospect via a subtweet.
Immediately after the long-time LSU lean announced he would play his college football in Tuscaloosa, the former LSU receiver took to Twitter to proclaim his frustration with this subtweet:
You don’t have a plate at this table no more.. Groupie

Surtain’s father, also his head coach at American Heritage High School, took issue with the tweet. Here’s Surtain Sr’s response to Landry:
Watch your mouth!!!

This exchange begs the question, should NFL players really be spending their time subtweeting high school recruits?
