Jonas Brothers and college football — a match made in Heaven? Or a match that’s just … confusing?
Most college football fans tuning into College GameDay on ESPN on Saturday morning seem to think the latter, as social media was abuzz with reaction to the live performance from the Jonas Brothers.
College GameDay was on the campus of James Madison on Saturday morning to preview the game between the undefeated Dukes and Appalachian State. So when the Jonas Brothers took the stage to sing, it was a bit confusing.
Here was some of the reaction on social media to the performance from the Jonas Brothers:
If anything screams college football, it's the Jonas Brothers

I never expected to see the Jonas Brothers on ANYTHING sports related. Much less #CollegeGameDay

College GameDay has done these live concerts before, and it seems to always draw confusion from diehard college football fans. But there was also some positive social media reaction from casual fans, so perhaps these performances draw in fans who wouldn’t watch the show otherwise.

We’ll see who the next artist to perform on College GameDay will be.
