Nation's top junior prospect set to visit several SEC programs in June
Lebbeus Overton is a wanted young man.
While every SEC coach may know his name, for those that may not yet be familiar with Overton just yet, the Alpharetta, Ga., native is currently rated as the nation’s top junior prospect in the country.
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound pass rusher holds scholarship offers from just about every SEC program as well as national teams Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Stanford, USC, and Wisconsin.
After visiting Knoxville to take in Tennessee’s latest Orange and White spring game, the Milton High School standout has a busy schedule of trips lined up as soon as the NCAA dead period in recruiting comes to an end in June.
According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Overton is planning to visit Georgia on June 2, Alabama on June 5, Oklahoma on June 19 and Texas A&M on June 21.
While Overton has plenty of time before he enrolls in college, he still has two seasons of high school football to play, it’s no surprise to see some of the best programs in the country lining up to host the five-star from Georgia.
