Corso, 89, joined ESPN in 1987 and has been part of College GameDay since the show’s beginning. In recent years, he has occasionally missed shows for health reasons.
GameDay carries on in Corso’s absence. Davis is joined by Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit at the desk. Insider Pete Thamel, college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims are also on hand in Atlanta. Actor Timothée Chalamet is Saturday’s celebrity guest picker.
