Another big storm is impacting college football.

Houston, Texas is still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The storm was severe enough that the LSU-BYU matchup had to be moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Now another hurricane, Irma, is set to hit Florida sometime Friday evening, and this storm could be even stronger. As a result, the Miami Hurricanes and Arkansas State Red Wolves have canceled Saturday’s game.

The university shared the report on Twitter:

The game was set to be played in Arkansas, the storm will likely make travel in and around Miami extremely dangerous.

The Florida Gators, set to play their home opener Saturday, have yet to make a decision on whether or not they will play the game as scheduled.

Florida AD Scott Stricklin tweeted on Tuesday evening that school officials will hopefully have more information Wednesday.
