Former Wyoming QB Josh Allen is one of the top quarterback prospects in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft, with ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. sending him to the Cleveland Browns at No. 1 overall in his most-recent mock draft.

Allen certainly isn’t lacking in confidence, either, giving an interesting interview to 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland on Monday afternoon.

First off, Allen said he put Wyoming on his back (even though the Cowboys finished the season 8-5) after the school lost key players to the NFL last year:

He then went on to compare himself to Aaron Rodgers, the star Green Bay Packers quarterback and one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history:

Another highlight included Allen saying “stats are for losers” and adding that wins are the only thing that matters:

Will the Browns pick him with the No. 1 overall pick over guys like UCLA QB Josh Rosen and USC QB Sam Darnold? That remains to be seen, but Allen said he’d welcome the challenge:

Whatever team ends up with Allen will be getting a very confident player. That much is for sure.
