Miami Dolphins DT Kendrick Norton is in critical condition on Thursday after a serious car accident.
Norton, a former Miami Hurricane who was chosen in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft, was in a crash that involved his vehicle rolling over, and he was seriously injured.
Per one report, Norton had to have his left arm amputated at the scene of the crash. Per another, the injury was “catastrophic,” and likely career-ending:

I’m told Kendrick Norton suffered “a catastrophic” arm injury. He will not play football in 2019 and probably not again. https://t.co/vUqk3DPMjp

Norton was drafted by the Carolina Panthers, but was signed from the Panthers’ practice squad by the Dolphins in December.
He is expected to survive, but his young NFL career is likely over if reports of the amputation are true.
