This is one way to spin things.
We don’t know much about the new Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff, who replaced Larry Scott this offseason, but during his first Pac-12 Media Days, the league’s new commish issued a comment that makes us question if he has any idea of how massive of a deal it is that Texas and Oklahoma are headed to the SEC.
Kliavkoff had to know questions about the SEC’s expansion were going to come up during Pac-12 Media Days.
While working on how he would answer those questions, this is the best he could come up with to spin it in the Pac-12’s favor:
Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff: "We believe the move by Texas and Oklahoma strengthens our unique position as the only Power 5 conference with teams in the Mountain and Pacific time zones."

Good luck, Pac-12. Looks like you are going to need it based on this comment.
