Paul Finebaum took a moment during his Friday show to remember Auburn superfan Tammy Bullard, who died in a car accident on an Alabama highway Friday.

Bullard, who was known as a regular caller to “The Paul Finebaum Show,” was 51.

“I mean, there are no words right now to describe the impact and the importance that she had on this program, and on so many people that were part of it,” Finebaum said while fighting back his emotions. “You always hate to characterize, but easily one of the most important and beloved callers in this program, which as everyone watching and listening knows, is primarily here for the callers.

“She certainly could be loud, but that’s what made her who she was. She was the most passionate caller that I’ve encountered, the most fan that I’ve ever known.”

Bullard was driving with her 3-year-old granddaughter when a commercial truck that had overturned into oncoming traffic hit her SUV. Alabama State Trooper Cpl. Jimmy Harrell told AL.com it’s possible the commercial truck blew a tire.

Both Bullard and her granddaughter were announced dead at the scene while the truck driver was flown to the UAB Hospital Trauma Center.
