The Auburn football community suffered a huge loss Friday when Tigers fan Tammy Renae Bullard, who was a regular caller into “The Paul Finebaum Show,” died in a car crash Friday in Talladega County.

The news was reported by WRBL.com.

Bullard frequently participated in Finebaum’s radio show since its inception in the 1990s in Birmingham. She remained faithful to the program even as it became a key part of the SEC Network, always calling in to support Auburn.

While Bullard was certainly known among fans, the Alabama native and Tigers superfan even made an impression on media members covering opposing schools. Cecil Hurt, who covers the Crimson Tide for The Tuscaloosa News, tweeted about Bullard shortly after news of her death began circulating.

Our thoughts are with Bullard’s family and the rest of the Auburn community.
