SEC announces regular-season baseball awards
The regular season is over for SEC baseball teams, and the SEC Tournament starts in Hoover, Alabama, on Tuesday.
Vanderbilt won the SEC East, with Mississippi State and Arkansas splitting the SEC West title. Therefore, it’s no surprise that the Commodores and Bulldogs were well-represented in the regular-season awards.
As you can see below, Vanderbilt landed both the coach and player of the year, with a pair of Mississippi State pitchers also taking home awards. Tennessee P Garrett Stallings was named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year:
