SEC announces uniform matchup for conference title game between Georgia, Texas
The SEC has announced the uniform matchup for this week’s conference championship game between Georgia and Texas.
The Bulldogs will wear Bulldog Red helmets and jerseys while the Longhorns don White helmets and jerseys. Here’s a look at the official mock-up, courtesy of the SEC:

This is a switch-up of what these teams wore when they met in Austin back in October. In that game, it was Georgia who wore White jerseys while the Longhorns wore their customary Burnt Orange jerseys. Both teams wore White helmets in that game.
Georgia won the first matchup of the season between these 2 giants, 30-15. The Bulldogs jumped out to a big lead in the first half and were able to hold off Texas’s comeback effort in that contest. Running back Trevor Etienne led the way with 3 rushing touchdowns in that victory.
This meeting has some enormously-high stakes. The winner not only takes home an SEC Championship, but it will also earn an automatic berth — and presumably a first-round bye — into the College Football Playoff.
Texas is 4-2 all-time against the Bulldogs.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
