Naming the best quarterback in the SEC is a very subjective process. Depending on who you ask, you are very likely to get a different answer heading into the 2017 season.

Instead of attempting to narrow the process down to one player, SEC Network analyst and former Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers listed a superlative for each quarterback below in a recent segment on SEC Network.

Here’s how Rodgers broke it down:

  • Best dual-threat: Nick Fitzgerlad, Mississippi State
  • Best situation (has the best situation around him as a QB): Jalen Hurts, Alabama
  • Best arm: Jacob Eason, Georgia
  • Best pure passer: Austin Allen, Arkansas
  • Best upside: Jake Bentley, South Carolina

Do you agree with his picks?
