SEC Shorts puts teams to the test with the ‘SEC Fraud detector’

SEC Shorts is back, delivering another classic episode after the full results from Week 7. While Texas skated past Oklahoma, the rest of the top teams in the league were not so lucky.
Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee all came away with wins but struggled to put away lesser competition. Even more startling, those 3 teams struggled inside their home stadiums over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss sustained its 2nd loss in 3 games with a road defeat at LSU. And while Kentucky is not among the leaders in the conference, the Wildcats are left in the dust as the latest team to be conquered by Vanderbilt.
As for the SEC Shorts episode, Alabama gets off to a rough start against the Fraud Detector as a clearly beaten up Alabama lies on the first question. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The Crimson Tide are also quizzed on the “gentle parenting approach” of new head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama lights up the red bulb — signifying a lie — while saying they’d never want to see a coach yell at a player on the sideline, something that was a staple of Nick Saban’s tenure in Tuscaloosa.
Tennessee follows up and is greeted by a rude “shock feature” after lying about Florida’s status as a “great team” that the Vols needed overtime to get past.
Even Georgia, one of the best teams in the country (on the field) is not immune to the system. The Bulldogs get buzzed for lying about going “as fast as legally possible” to get to the interview.
Oklahoma, Kentucky and Florida also take turns testing out the machine, but Vanderbilt avoids the system altogether. However, the Wildcats do object to Vandy’s presence, though the administrator claims the Commodore is there just for the vibes.
