The Wednesday night SEC basketball slate provided a big shakeup to the conference standings.

Florida, Auburn and LSU all played their 17th conference game of the season. With Florida’s 68-54 win over Georgia, Auburn’s 78-75 home loss to Texas A&M and LSU’s 99-90 loss at Arkansas, all three teams are now 11-6 in conference play heading into Saturday’s season finale.

The Gators are a combined 2-1 against Auburn and LSU, which means if the SEC Tournament started today, Mike White’s squad would get the No. 2 seed. Auburn would be No. 3 as Bruce Pearl’s Tigers are 1-1 against LSU and Florida. LSU would be the No. 4 seed as Will Wade’s Tigers are 1-2 against Auburn and Florida. This could all change on Saturday.

Florida trailed Georgia 30-28 at halftime, but the Gators dominated the second half 40-24, coming away with a 68-54 win over Tom Crean’s Bulldogs in Athens. UF’s Keyontae Johnson led all scorers with 18 points. Johnson made it a double-double with 11 rebounds.

Texas A&M spoiled what was almost a perfect home season for Auburn. The Aggies took a 33-26 lead into the locker room at halftime despite a second-half comeback from the Tigers (49-35). It was an eventful second half as both Steven and Bruce Pearl received technical fouls. Josh Nebo led the TAMU upset with 19 points, while AU guard Samir Doughty led all scorers with 25 points.

Arkansas’ March Madness hopes have taken some hard hits over the last few games, but Wednesday’s win over LSU adds a quadrant 1 win to the Razorbacks’ resume. The Hogs had a 55-34 lead at the half, but the Tigers didn’t quit. LSU roared back with a 56-point second half, but Eric Musselman’s squad managed to hold on for a 99-90 victory. The individual scoring was higher in this game, as well. Arkansas guard Mason Jones led all scorers with 36 points. Fellow Razorback guard Jimmy Whitt Jr. had 26 points.
