There is money to be made this week in Mobile as the NFL has descended on the Southern town to observe some of the best seniors in the nation compete head-to-head in practice and drills leading up to the weekend’s 2019 Senior Bowl.

The weeklong event gives teams an opportunity to get to know the prospects personally and observe their competitive spirit on the practice after combing through game film from the fall. Without a doubt, several players will make significant moves on various draft boards based on their performance down in Mobile. Not all the movement will be positive, however, as teams could decide they don’t like what they see from a prospect during the event.

While that may be a concern for some after the final Senior Bowl practice, it is a safe bet that at least four SEC veterans don’t have to worry about that moving forward. According to Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl, four players from SEC programs deserved recognition for their efforts on the practice field this week.

Nagy named Alabama’s Isaiah Buggs defensive lineman practice player of the week, Auburn’s Jarrett Stidham quarterback practice player of the week, South Carolina’s Deebo Samuel receiver practice player of the week and LSU’s Foster Moreau practice player tight end of the week, following the week of practice from Mobile.

That’s incredible praise from the event’s leader and should go far when it comes to each players’ stock when it comes to the 2019 NFL Draft. If teams had any questions on these four heading into the week, they likely got the answers they were looking for in Mobile.
