Shemar Stewart is one of the top recruits who will not sign during the Early Signing Period. While many recruits became signees on Wednesday, the start of the Early Signing Period, some wait to make their final decision until January to early enroll, February’s National Signing Day or even later.

On Thursday, Stewart shared that he will sign in February. He’s down to 3 schools: Georgia, Texas A&M and Miami.

From the Miami area (Opa Locka, Florida), Stewart is listed at 6-6, 272 pounds and rated 5-stars, the No. 1 Sunshine State product, No. 3 defensive lineman and No. 9 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Stewart has picked up 33 scholarship offers during his recruitment.
