The SEC went 12-2 in Week 1, much better than the 7-7 the league produced in 2016. So most of you should be in a lighthearted mood and ready for the latest batch of trivia.

Now, if you’re an Aggies fan, I strongly suggest you turn this into a drinking game.

Many of the SEC’s Week 1 wins were easy, and in that vein we’re offering yes/no and either/or questions. Feel free to give yourself mad bonus points if you can fill in the specifics.

1. Missouri’s Corey Fatony punted only twice against Missouri State in his 25th game as the Tigers’ punter. A) Has he ever punted fewer times in a game? B) Has he ever punted two or fewer times against an SEC foe? C) Has he ever punted more than 10 times in a game? D) Has he ever averaged better than the 50.0 yards he produced against the Bears?

2. Senior Ralph Webb, Vanderbilt’s all-time leading rusher, had only 49 yards on 24 carries against Middle Tennessee State. A) Has he ever rushed for fewer yards in a season opener? B) Has he ever topped 100 yards in an opener? C) Has he ever averaged fewer yards per carry in an opener?

3. Freshman Chase Hayden rushed for 120 yards in his Arkansas debut. A) Did Rawleigh Williams III ever top 100 yards in a season opener? B) Did Alex Collins have more than 120 rushing yards when he debuted in the 2013 opener?

4. South Carolina won in Week 1 despite gaining only 246 total yards on offense. A) Have the Gamecocks had under 250 total yards — win or lose — in a previous season opener since 2010? B) Have they won an opener with less than 300 total yards from 2010-16?

5. Mississippi State shut out Charleston Southern 49-0. A) Did the Bulldogs have a season-opening shutout in the previous five years? B) Has MSU shut out an SEC team (anytime during the season) in the past five years? C) Has MSU been shut out since 2012?

6. Kentucky, like South Carolina, won its opener despite a sputtering offense. The Wildcats had only 254 total yards. A) In its previous five season openers, did KU have a game with less than 300 total yards?

7. Senior Daniel Carlson went 2-of-4 on field goals in Auburn’s opener, missing from 46 and 53 yards. Carlson is over 80 percent for his career, and he made 51 of 59 from 2015-16. A) Had he ever previously missed two or more in a game as a Tiger?

8. Jake Fromm (above) took over at quarterback for Georgia after Jacob Eason got hurt (injury update here). A) In the past 10 seasons, have the Bulldogs had two quarterbacks with the same first initial complete passes in the same season?

9. Alabama had no turnovers and forced three in cruising past Florida State. A) Did the Tide lose the turnover battle in any season opener since 2012? B) Did the Tide have any other no-turnover opening games since then?

10. Matt Luke won in his head coaching debut, leading his alma mater Ole Miss past South Alabama. Luke started 33 games and was a four-year center for the Rebels from 1995-98. A) Did the Rebels win their opener in Luke’s freshman year? B) Did they win at least half of their openers during Luke’s playing career?

11. Florida will certainly drop in the polls, the question is just how far. A) Did the Gators spend any time outside the AP’s Top 25 last season?

12. Texas A&M blew a 34-point second-half lead and lost to UCLA. Ugh. A) Excluding one-game interim coaches, when is the last time the Aggies changed coaches during a season? Was it more or less than 30 years ago?

13. Sophomore Marquez Callaway was one of many heroes for Tennessee on Monday night, catching four passes for 115 yards and two TDs. In all of last season, did Callaway A) have more than four receptions? B) Have a game with more than 115 all-purpose yards (rushing, receiving, kick/punt returns)? C) Score more than two TDs?

14. Derrius Guice had one catch for 4 yards against BYU. A) In the 11 games in which he has seen significant action (at least 10 rushing attempts) for LSU, has Guice had more one-catch games or multi-catch games? 1. A) Yes. He punted once in a 79-0 victory over Delaware State in 2016. B) Yes. He punted twice in last year’s 63-37 loss to Tennessee. C) No. He punted exactly 10 times in a 40-14 loss to Florida in 2016, his only double-digit-punts game. D) Yes, but just barely — 50.4 yards on five punts in last year’s 28-27 loss to Georgia.

2. A) No. His previous low was 70 yards. B) No. The closest he came was 97 yards last year against South Carolina. C) No. Not even close. Note: It’s only fair to point out that Webb had a career-high 104 receiving yards Saturday. Webb finds a way!

3. A) No. Williams’ best Week 1 effort was 96 yards against Louisiana Tech last year. B) Yes. Collins had 131 yards against Louisiana-Lafayette in his first game as a Razorback.

4. A) No. B) Yes, South Carolina had only 272 yards in a season-opening 17-13 win over Vanderbilt in 2012.

5. A) Yes. MSU also won 49-0 in the 2014 opener over Southern Miss. B) Yes, 51-0 over Vanderbilt in 2014. C) No.

6. A) No. Not even close. The low point was 373 total yards in a 2012 loss to Louisville.

7. A) Yes. He went 0-for-2 in a 35-21 win over San Jose State in 2015 and 1-for-3 (both misses from the 40-49-yard range) in an overtime loss to Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl that concluded the Tigers’ 2014 season.

8. No. The last time it happened was 2006, when Joe Tereshinski and Joe Cox both saw action behind Matthew Stafford.

9. A) Yes. Alabama was minus-1 in turnover differential two of the past three years, including last year’s 52-6 drubbing of Southern Cal. B) Yes. The Tide had zero turnovers in the 2015 opening win over Wisconsin.

10. A) No. They lost on the road to No. 6 Auburn. B) Yes. They won season openers at home in Luke’s final three years.

11. A) Yes. The Gators started the 2016 season at No. 25 but fell to No. 26 (first among others receiving votes) after an unimpressive 24-7 victory over UMass in their opener.

12. A) It was more than 30 years ago, almost 40. In 1978, Emory Bellard resigned and Tom Wilson took over for what turned out to be a 3 ½-year stint. Both coaches went 4-2 in ’78.

13. A) No. He had one catch all year. B) Yes. He had 127 all-purpose yards against Tennessee Tech, 114 coming on a pair of punt returns. C) No. He had one TD, on one of his two punt returns.

14. A) In those 11 games, Guice has way more one-catch games (seven) than multi-catch games (one). B) Guice has had more single-digit receiving yard games, 7 out of 12. If you count every game he has played (granted, in a few cases very sparingly), Guice has had one three-catch game, one two-catch game, 10 one-catch games and 12 no-catch games. Maybe Matt Canada will work him into the passing game a bit more as this season goes along. We’ll see.
