In my 50 questions for this week, I asked whether we’d see a week with a fourth straight wild finish.

Well, the SEC gave us one in Oxford.

Here’s a look back at the last four weeks, which have all featured improbable finishes.

Week 7: Michigan State 27, Michigan 23

Back on Oct. 17, Michigan State returned a fumble for a touchdown on the final play of the game to defeat Michigan 27-23.

With 10 seconds left to play and the Wolverines leading 23-21, Michigan punter Blake O’Neill fumbled the punt snap. O’Neill couldn’t pick up the ball cleanly, and the ball bounced to Jalen Watts-Jackson, who raced 38 yards to score the game-winning touchdown for the Spartans.

The play is now infamously called “the Scoop-and-Score.”

Week 8: Georgia Tech 22, Florida State 16

On Oct. 24, Georgia Tech’s Lance Austin returned a blocked kick 78 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the game, giving the Yellow Jackets a 22-16 upset victory over No. 9 Florida State.

It was Florida State’s first regular season loss since the Seminoles fell 37-26 to Florida in 2012.

Week 9: Miami (FL) 30, Duke 27

On Oct. 31, Miami defeated Duke 30-27 with an unbelievable 91-yard kickoff return touchdown as time expired that featured eight laterals.

The referees had called a block on the back on Miami, initially preserving the Blue Devils’ win. However, the officials picked up the flag and gave the Hurricanes the win.

The ACC announced the next day that it had suspended the on-field officiating crew as well as the replay official for two games as there was a series of errors on the decisive play.

Week 10: Arkansas 53, Ole Miss 52 (OT)

And today, Arkansas only had a prayer to keep its chances alive in OT against Ole Miss, and it was answered in Oxford.

The Razorbacks faced a fourth-and-25, but they converted it after tight end Hunter Henry caught a 3-yard pass and eventually lobbed it behind his head in hopes someone would catch it.

Someone did by the name of Alex Collins, who took it 26 yards to the Rebels’ 11 to give the Hogs a fresh set of downs. QB Brandon Allen would later connect with Drew Morgan for a 9-yard TD, then Allen got in the end zone for the 2-point conversion to give the Razorbacks the win.
