Video: Chad Kelly's former JUCO involved in violent, uncontrollable brawl
After a Mississippi Delta player allegedly “attacked’ an East Mississippi coach before the game, leading to a cut that required stitches, the No. 3-ranked junior college got retribution by running up the score in the first half.
Up 48-0, East Mississippi apparently called two time outs to ensure one final possession before halftime. That led to an all-out brawl, including trash cans being flung and most members of both teams participating in a wild fight.
It remains to be seen if EMCC will be allowed to play in the playoff, or what discipline will be administered. It seems tough to imagine it would fall on individual players, as this was definitely a team fight.
Chad Kelly and Bo Wallace both attended EMCC before playing quarterback at Ole Miss.
Only at MDCC …

EMCC’s Buddy Stephens “it all started in the pregame with one of our managers getting five stitches (from an attack by a Delta player)”

From a personal standpoint … Kudos to the Delta linebacker who threw a garbage can 20 yards in the air … Easily enough for a first down
