It sounds like Walter Nolen may be far from making his college decision but the five-star lineman from Tennessee at least is ready to narrow his options down a bit.

The No. 2 overall prospect in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle shared his list of top 10 schools but noted he is still “fully open” when it comes to his college recruitment.

Among the 10 schools Nolen listed, half hail from the Southeastern Conference. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee all made the cut, along with Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and USC outside of the SEC.

A former member of IMG Academy, Nolen currently plays for St. Benedict at Auburndale in Cordova, where former Tennessee Volunteer lineman Marlon Walls is his head coach.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Nolen is rated as a five-star prospect, the No. 1 defensive tackle and the No. 1 defensive prospect in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. The only prospect currently rated higher than Nolen is Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers.

At this time, Nolen does not have a date for his upcoming college decision. Here is a look at Nolen’s sophomore season highlights.
