XFL announces 2020 television schedule including partnerships with several national broadcasting companies

The XFL won’t debut this year but the new spring league already appears to have learned a valuable lesson from the now-defunct Alliance of American Football — you have to make your games easy to find for viewers.

That’s something the AAF did not manage to do, as games were spread across CBS, CBS Sports Network and the NFL Network but the XFL is making its games much easier to find with television partnerships with ABC, ESPN, FOX and FS1 announced by the league on Monday.

The debut of the new and improved XFL is set for Saturday, February 8, 2020, with teams in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis, Seattle, Tampa Bay and Washington D.C.
