Dakereon Joyner, in video message to daughter, announces plans for 2023 season
Dakereon Joyner, one of the most versatile and veteran players at South Carolina, has announced his plans for the 2023 season.
Joyner delivered the news through a video message to his daughter, and he shared clips of him assembling various baby-related items, from a rocking chair to a stroller.
“With that being said, I’ll resume my athletic career here at South Carolina for my last year of eligibility with you by my side,” he said. “I cannot wait for you to experience your first game in Willy-B. Love, Dada.”

Joyner this season saw time at wide receiver and quarterback. He was 3-for-3 passing for 101 yards and a touchdown. He also had 12 carries for 56 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a receiver, he caught 8 passes for 120 yards and one score.
This is great news. Joyner is a class act. He made a commitment and he is honoring it. I wish some of his former teammates shared his strength of character.
What a gamer. I have always liked him.
Wish the other muttchump players had DK loyalty and class. He has always been team first.
Joyner is a fine young athlete but he has been misused in his playing time in Columbia.
Maybe Loggains will finally be the OC to use him to his full potential. After games where he did nothing but help the team win the entire Muschamp staff and Satterfield were like “meh” and continued to squander his talent. I’m surprised he came back really but glad he is.
He truly is a swiss-army-knife type of player. It will be interesting on how the new OC will use him.
