Players from South Carolina and North Carolina have a little bit more incentive to play well and lead their team to victory thanks to a NIL ambassador deal announced by Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

The bowl will work with Opendorse, a name, image and likeness platform, to use participants in the game to tell the story of this yearโ€™s bowl experience.

As part of the opportunities to promote the bowl, it will haveย the first ever โ€œDukeโ€™s Mayo Bowl Ambassadorโ€ named from the winning team. The player will be offered a $5,000 contract to help continue to tell the story of the Dukeโ€™s Mayo Bowl into the offseason via social media posts and other opportunities.

The game is scheduled for Dec. 30th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. with an 11:30 a.m. kickoff on ESPN.
