It just means more in the SEC. When you’re off to an 0-2 start coming off of a disappointing season the year before, it just means more angry callers on the weekly radio show.

On Will Muschamp’s weekly radio show, one frustrated South Carolina fan snuck in a question past the call screener by saying it was related to COVID and masks. The question was about a mask, but it did not have to do with COVID.

“Have you and the coaches thought about wearing ski masks? That would make it easier to steal money from (South Carolina athletic director) Ray Tanner,” the caller said, according to Josh Kendall of The Athletic.

Kendall shared that Muschamp at least “got a good laugh” out of the caller’s question. As Gamecock fans are well-aware, Muschamp is set to make around $4 million this year.

Muschamp is 26-27 in his South Carolina tenure, including a 4-11 mark over the Gamecocks’ last 15 games, dating back to the Belk Bowl loss to Virginia. Muschamp and company will try to turn it around on Saturday against Vanderbilt.
