Baseball America released its preseason poll on Monday, and 8 SEC teams made the top 25, led by Vanderbilt at No. 2.

Texas was ranked No. 1 after the Longhorns won the Big 12 title and reached the bracket finals of the College World Series. Texas went 50-17 in 2021 and went 3-2 in Omaha, losing a pair of one-run games to eventual national champion Mississippi State.
