Kansas finally got what many in college football wanted last week with a Week 6 visit from ESPN’s “College GameDay.”

The Jayhawks will play host to TCU in a surprising battle of unbeaten teams. Kansas knocked off Iowa State this week after ISU missed a late field goal attempt, and this came after the Jayhawks had back-to-back sellouts.

This is the first time ever the popular pregame show will visit Kansas, and it will do it after college football media clamored for College GameDay to visit last week when the Jayhawks played Duke.

This is the Jayhawks’ best start to the season since 2009 and just the second time in the last 14 years they’re 2-0 to begin Big 12 Conference play. They’re led by star quarterback Jalon Daniels, who along with Daniel Hishaw on Saturday scored rushing touchdowns for the Jayhawks. KU was shut out in the second half, but did just enough to hang on for the victory for a 14-11 victory after ISU missed 3 field goal attempts.
