Colorado's victory vs. Colorado State sets ESPN ratings records
Colorado has been a ratings boon for networks early in the season and it remained that way in Week 3. Colorado’s thrilling 43-35 double overtime victory vs. in-state rival Colorado State racked up 9.3 million viewers on ESPN.
ESPN reports that the contest was the network’s 5th most-watched college football game ever, while setting a record for the late primetime window and being the most-streamed regular season contest of all time for the sport on the network.

Colorado rallied from down 28-17 in the 4th quarter with a 24-4 run to close out the win. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders completed 38 of his 47 passes for 348 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
This comes after Colorado’s win vs. Nebraska set high marks for FOX Sports during Week 2.
No. 19 Colorado is off to a 3-0 start in their first season under head coach Deion Sanders after winning 1 game last season.
Colorado 2-way star Travis Hunter took a hard hit against Colorado State and is expected to be out a few weeks.
