Deion Sanders had Colorado at 3-0 entering Saturday’s road game at Oregon. The hype had built into a fever pitch around the Buffaloes’ program.

But the Buffs suffered their first setback on Saturday afternoon, getting demolished by the Ducks 42-6. It was never a competitive game.

Coach Prime isn’t expecting any pity, though. After the game, he shared his message to his team, saying they need to get back up and not feel sorry for themselves:

“Get your butt up and let’s go,” Sanders said. “We ain’t got time to have a pity party. Ain’t nobody walking around the locker room with napkins and tissues.”

Coach Prime also had a strong message for his doubters:

Now 3-1, Sanders and the Buffaloes host USC next weekend. That will also be a tough game without star WR/CB Travis Hunter. Facing reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams and the high-powered Trojans’ offense won’t be easy.

We’ll see if Coach Prime’s squad can get the hype train back on the tracks next weekend in that huge Pac-12 showdown.
