Gus Malzahn torched on social media after UCF loses to 0-3 Navy
Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights looked like they were going to improve to 3-1 with a win over a Navy squad that entered Saturday afternoon’s game with an 0-3 record.
The Knights held a 30-17 lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Midshipmen kept chipping away at UCF’s lead.
Late in the fourth quarter, Navy plunged into the end zone to take a 34-30 lead, as you can see below:

That lead would hold, as UCF’s last-ditch effort to march down the field came up short.
Now, the Knights are 2-2 and fans aren’t loving that start from the Malzahn era. Media members and fans took to Twitter to call out the first-year UCF coach:
We're four games in and I've learned Gus Malzahn is practically incapable of calling plays in critical, crunch-time drives. Unreal. Way too cute.

UCF drove right down the field, then Gus Malzahn’s play-calling got weird.
Joey Gatewood comes in on 1st down, does nothing. Then a strange sweep play on 3rd down. Now it’s 4th down in the red zone, down 34-30 with 34 seconds left.

Tough day for the former NCAA Champs UCF. Losing to Navy. Gus Malzahn clearly not ready for the 0-3 Midshipmen

Remember when Gus Malzahn was the steal of the offseason for coaches and now he just lost to a GARBAGE Navy team

Can the Knights turn things around? If not, Malzahn’s seat will continue to heat up.
