Conner Weigman has found a new home.

Multiple outlets are reporting that Weigman has committed to Houston to continue his college football career. The news comes on the third day of the transfer portal’s undergraduate window, though Weigman reportedly made his decision to enter the portal on Dec. 3.

Weigman departs College Station after 3 seasons in the Texas A&M program, playing for Jimbo Fisher and Mike Elko. He appeared in 15 games from 2022-24.

Weigman has dealt with the injury bug multiple times in his career. He was limited to 4 games in 2023 before suffering a season-ending injury that resulted in him taking a redshirt.

This season, Weigman was sidelined early in the year due to injury, and Marcel Reed filled in as the starting QB. Later in the season, Reed came off the bench to lead the Aggies to victory over LSU and took over the starting job going forward.

For his career, Weigman is 219-of-365 passing (60% complete) for 2,694 yards, 19 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, adding 67 rushes for 261 yards and 2 scores. As a Class of 2022 recruit, Weigman was rated 5-stars, the No. 2 quarterback and No. 22 prospect overall on the 247Sports Composite.

The Cougars went 4-8 in 2024, with a 3-6 record in Big 12 play.
