Texas A&M pulled in six offensive linemen in this recruiting class, and coach Jimbo Fisher couldn’t be more excited to see them in Aggieland.

They are Marcus Burris, Reuben “Deuce” Fatheree II, Bryce Foster, Remington Strickland, Matthew Wykoff and Trey Zuhn.

“When you can control the line of scrimmage in this league, it makes a world of difference,” Fisher said, per TexAgs. “To allow your skill guys to function and we have length, we have size, we have mass, we have athleticism. I think we have intelligence and competitiveness. I’m very, very excited about those guys with their hand in the dirt. … They gotta go prove it, they gotta go do it and compete at that level, but they passed the eyeball test and when you meet them, man, you love them. I’m excited about the line.”

Overall, the Aggies ranked No. 4 in the SEC and No. 7 in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.

One of the key pickups for the Aggies was the addition on Wednesday of RB LJ Johnson Jr‍. who will appreciate these lineman. Fisher said getting him is huge, and added that Johnson is very smooth, and you don’t realize how good he is with the little nuances of his game.
